Firstly, speakers must be able to cope with the output power of you amplifier. For example, use 250W speakers on a 200W per channel amplifier.

The speaker size will also have an impact on how loud they sound. While hi-fi speakers will suffice for a party at home, for other venues we recommend speakers with 12" drivers as a minimum and 15" drivers for larger venues.
